Robin Ginley has been a member of the CWC-Sacramento Branch Non-Fiction networking group for over ten years. She often volunteers to write the speaker notes during the first Friday club speaker (s) presentations for publication in the Club’s monthly newsletter, Sacramento Writer.
She began her career in writing through her interest in journalism and publishing for magazines. Her professional background in counseling enriches her non-fiction writing platform. Robin is excited to write non-fiction book reviews for her counseling association’s clinical trade magazine, The Therapist. She is proud to have received a Gold Circle award for third place in literary fiction for her short story Radios, published in the American River Review in 2009.
She continues to benefit extensively as a writer through attending a professional critique group for over a year. She won second place in the CWC-Sacramento Branch short short story contest for her story, The Chair. Robin thrives on the inspiration, knowledge and dynamic energy she takes away from her membership in the CWC-Sacrmento Branch NF Club. She can be reached at robinginley@hotmail.com
