CHICKEN SOUP FOR THE SOUL’s latest anthology, ALL YOU NEED IS LOVE, marks the 300th title in the series spanning 30 years. The editor Krisiana Pastir researched non-romance specific titles, resulting with 101 titles. The result is a collection of happy and sad memoirs, each one daring us to take a chance on love.

Marsha Porter’s story, ‘Shortcut to Disaster’, (Chapter 7, Page 20) retells her short-lived romance with a tall dark and handsome exchange student. Their time together of one college year was bliss while it lasted.

The shortcut she took to communicate with his visiting sisters robbers her of her happily-ever-after. BUT, not one of life’s great lessons.
